Great American Short Stories: A Seminar Style Class for Lovers of Literature
Thursday, October 17 & 31, November 14 11-12:30 at Main Library

Explore compelling 20th Century American short stories by Edith Wharton, Willa Cather, and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Classes are a forum for lively discussion as we focus on key aspects and critical analysis of the stories as well as your insights and questions about them. Meetings will include socio-historic handouts and occasional documentary excerpts. Participants are expected to attend all 3 sessions.

Instructed by Ann Schwarz, Doctor of Education. She has taught courses in American Literature/English at The New School, New York University, Marymount Manhattan College, and Cornell University.
